GeoBoosting (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates geoboosting.com and the GeoBoosting client application. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have over it.
Information we collect
Information you provide
When you complete onboarding or contact us, we collect:
- Business name, owner name, contact email, phone number, and business address
- Website URL and WordPress configuration details
- Business information: services offered, target cities, competitor names, and brand preferences
- Google Business Profile URL and optimization details
- Content rules, tone preferences, and clinical disclaimers
We do not store full payment card numbers. All billing information is processed directly by Stripe.
Information we access with your authorization
- Google Search Console data: with your explicit permission, we access your Search Console property to record your baseline impression count at onboarding and track visibility progress over time. We request read-only access to impressions, clicks, and position data for your verified property. We use this data only to deliver the service you signed up for.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages visited, time on site, browser type, and referring URL
- Analytics data: we use privacy-friendly analytics to understand how our website and product are used. This data is aggregated and not linked to individual identities.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Deliver the GeoBoosting service: crawl your website, generate your SEO roadmap, create content, and publish pages to your WordPress site
- Record and track your Google Search Console baseline impressions in connection with the 90-day guarantee
- Process billing and manage your subscription through Stripe
- Send transactional emails: onboarding confirmation, content status updates, and billing receipts
- Respond to support questions and schedule calls
- Improve our service based on aggregated usage patterns
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.
Google API disclosure
GeoBoosting uses the Google Search Console API to access your Search Console data on your behalf. We request the minimum scope required: read access to impressions and click data for the property you authorize.
We use this data to:
- Record your baseline impression count at onboarding, before any pages are published
- Track impression growth over time
- Power the analytics view in your GeoBoosting dashboard
Our use of Google API data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We do not access, store, or share Google data beyond what is required to provide these features. You may revoke our access at any time through your Google Account settings at myaccount.google.com.
Third-party services
We share data with the following services only to the extent needed to deliver the GeoBoosting service:
Each service operates under its own privacy policy. We do not authorize these services to use your data for any purpose other than delivering GeoBoosting to you.
Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your subscription is active and for 12 months after cancellation, unless you request earlier deletion. Search Console baseline data is retained as part of your account record to support 90-day guarantee evaluations.
Your rights
You may request:
- A copy of the data we hold about your business
- Correction of inaccurate information
- Deletion of your account and associated data

California residents: Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
EEA residents: Under GDPR, you have rights to access, rectify, erase, and port your data. You may also object to certain processing or request restriction. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@geoboosting.com. If you believe we have not addressed your concern adequately, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies for session management and analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Some features of the GeoBoosting application may not function correctly without session cookies.
Security
We use industry-standard security practices: encrypted connections (HTTPS), database access controls, and regular security reviews. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
GeoBoosting is a business service and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
Changes to this policy
We’ll notify active customers of material changes by email before they take effect. The updated effective date will appear at the top of this page.
